GE Corometrics 120 Maternal/Fetal Monitor is a compact and comprehensive unit that can monitor maternal and fetal patient needs from antepartum to labor and delivery. Optional parameters such as non-invasive BP, FECG, IUP, maternal and/or fetal pulse oximetry can be added to assist changing patient needs without changing monitors. It features Spectra Alerts feature transforms this into a "smart monitor", analyzing the fetal heart rate and uterine activity patterns, as well as decelerations, baseline, trend characteristics of variability, and signal quality to assist the clinicians in evaluating the fetal strip. It has a patented Smart BP feature that restricts blood pressure taking when contractions are taking place. Its 3-Level-Heart Beat Coincidence notifies if there is a chance that the same heart rate is being monitored by two modes of monitoring because the device can monitor up to 3 heart rates. The Vital Signs History feature can show maternal information. It has optional Fetal SPO2 for early detection of fetal hypoxia, and optional Maternal SPO2 and Masimo NET. Its software can be upgraded via PC for easy reprogramming. With the use of the Trim Knob, songs can be played to serenade mother and fetus. The ChartLight feature allows clinicians to easily read fetal strips in low-light settings.
