Philips IntelliVue M3014A Capnography Extension can work with the Philips IntelliVue M3001A and IntelliVue M3002A Multi-Measurement Module or the Philips IntelliVue M2 Patient Monitor and it can send processed waves, numerics, and even some basic alerts to the monitor that it is currently connected to. It can provide the following optional parameters: Mainstream or Sidestream CO2, Invasive Pressure and Invasive Pressure or Temperature, and Cardiac Output or Continuous Cardiac Output. It uses infrared absorption spectroscopy to provide the following during CO2 monitoring: waveform, etCO2, amCO2, and awRR. Its etCO2 feature makes the device suitable for anesthesia and critical care, ventilatory support, cardiac arrest, and procedural sedation. It also offers a quick response time of 15 seconds and quick connection of just 120 seconds to full measurements from turn on. It's a portable device that's also low-maintenance, needing little end-user calibration.
