The Sony UP-895MD Video Printer is a greyscale thermal printer connects to a diagnostic equipment and prints images displayed on the video monitor. It uses a temperature compensation technology to produce stable A-7 sized printouts in approximately 3.9 seconds while it is in STD or NORM mode with 256 gradations of black and white. It can also identify video signals whether it is EIA, CCIR, NTSC, or PAL and intelligently adapts for better printout quality. It is built with compact and lightweight design for easy portability and to consume less space.
Its several functions provide efficiency and convenience for better documentation. For example, its printing direction allows selection of orientation either in vertical or horizontal output, while the image size selector allows selection of different paper sizes. Also, it gives options if printouts should start from the bottom or top of the image to suit user preferences.
