The Stryker 1588-210-105 AIM Camera Head is integrated with Dynamic Range Enhancement feature (DRE), which increases the brightness of an image by up to 150 per cent. This improves image quality even in dark or posterior locations. This enhances accuracy in identifying critical anatomy, and increases efficiency in operating procedures.

The camera head has a four-button keypad on top, which allows control over the camera. The picture button (P) allows control of a remote video accessory. The user can either capture still images or record videos of an on-going procedure. The white balance button (W) activates either the White Balance or the Zoom Cycle function. While the other two are the Up and Down buttons, which are used to change functionality. Other functions can also be programmed to these buttons.
