The Stryker 240-050-888 Image Capture Unit is designed to capture and store High Definition images and is backwards compatible by supporting both NTSC and high resolution video. It supports USB 2.0 interface for high speed data transfer to various media types. For efficiency, optional USB devices such as USB Hard Drives, Media Card Readers, and USB Flash Cards can be used. It supports multiple still image and video formats, and can burn files into DVD+R, DVD+RW and DVD-R discs. This gives it a wider range of compatibility in working with various types of DVD drives. In addition, the use of the optional card reader enhances portability by allowing surgeons to write images and videos directly to their PDA.
