The Stryker CORE 5400-50 Instrument Console acts as the central control over several system components, and promotes safe and cost-effective delivery of surgical procedures. Its proprietary software provides precise control over the connected handpieces, the optional footswitches and irrigation pump, and the graphical user interface (GUI) of the console itself. The software also offers superb management ability by storing user preferences and conveniently provides access to most frequently used files to enhance workflow efficiency. Its intuitive touchscreen interface also allows a user to access and change the parameters of a connected device, and the rapid change causes little to no interruption during surgery.

The Stryker CORE Instrument Console is also equipped with an integral irrigation pump system with adjustable flow rates that provides coolant or irrigation to the cutting site. During surgical procedures, multiple handpieces and footswitches may be connected and operated simultaneously. The console will also conveniently display the options related only to the connected handpiece, and this saves time for the user by eliminating unnecessary menu prompts. The Stryker Core Instrument Console is intended to power handheld surgical instruments used in, but not limited to, nuero, ENT, dental, and endoscopic procedures.
