The Allen Medical F-LH500 Elite Stirrups allow easy adjustment for abduction and lithotomy positions. These enable safe and easy positioning and provide better access to the surgical site, while its ergonomic boot design helps reduce pressure under the popliteal fossa and superficial peroneal nerves. It can support secured positioning of patients weighing up to 500 pounds (227 kilograms). The floating boots are self-adjusting and designed to minimize pressure on the calf when the stirrups are moved, while its lift-support technology allows easy movement of the legs when moving these into a desired position. In addition, its twist release handle provides an easy way to adjust the device without compromising the sterile field - a simple twist of the handle and the leg holder can be moved in all directions.
