The Allen Medical PAL Stirrups provide many of the features of the PAL Pro stirrups, but with controlled adjustments for abduction. The safety zone for abduction is approximately 12.5 degrees from midline, and the stirrups also abduct at 12.5 degrees as they are elevated. These can support secured positioning of patients weighing up to 350 pounds (159 kilograms) and feature mechanism covers which are easy to clean between cases. In addition, its Lift-Assist technology provides easy movement of the leg to enhance access to the surgical site without compromising the sterile field.
