The Baxter AS40A Auto Syringe Infusion Pump can administer infusions through intravenous (IV), intra-arterial (IA), epidural, or subcutaneous means of delivery. An easy interface allows the user to adjust the flow rate from 0.01 to 360 milliLiter per hour. The instrument accepts standard disposable syringes with size ranging from 1 mL to 60 mL, and is equipped with auto syringe size detection.
A smart LCD readout displays information such as syringe manufacturer and size, the infusion rate, concentration, total volume limit and total volume delivered resulting to easy and accurate monitoring. A programmable schedule allows it to deliver continuous or intermittent infusion.
