The Conmed AER Defense Smoke Evacuator is a compact but powerful and efficient solution to hazardous surgical smoke plume exposure inside the operating room. Its FilterOne is a disposable filter technology that offers maximum safety and complete protection from contamination. The FilterOne uses three stages of filtering, which sifts through particles, gases and odors, and uses an ULPA grade layer to trap dangerous micro-organisms. Aside from its safety features, it is also easy to operate with its intuitive interface where a user can quickly scan and tell the suction level and how much longer a filter can be used. In addition, it provides exceptional versatility by offering four specialized modes: Automatic, Laparoscopic, Continuous, and Footswitch Activation.
