The Conmed D3000 Instrument Console is the central control unit for the Conmed Advantage System and functions and powers handheld instruments that perform bone cutting, reaming, drilling and driving screws, and as soft tissue resection. It can support and operate two handheld surgical instruments at the same time, and its closed-loop software control delivers constant power output no matter how many devices are connected. Its ability to support 24 optional handpieces and 2 footswitches makes it flexible inside the operating room in a variety of surgical procedures. The D3000 console is suitable for arthroscopic, foot, hand, medial sternotomy, nuerosurgical, orthropedic, otolaryngological, plastic or reconstructive, and Spinal surgical procedures. In addition, the Conmed D3000 Instrument Console is built with an integrated irrigation pump system with adjustable flow settings, which provides sterile fluid supply at the surgical site to the blades, burs and drill bits for lavage and cooling.
