The Maquet Datascope CS100i Balloon Pump automatically evaluates and selects an optimal trigger source. It sets inflation at the dicrotic notch and deflates IAB at the start of systole. The device responds to changes in signal quality by selecting new trigger source and re-timing to adapt to patient rhythm changes. Trigger sources are continuously evaluated for quality, ensuring that the pump is always utilizing the best available signal. Required changes in timing and trigger are managed by the CS100i when in auto operation mode without the need for user intervention. The CS100i algorithms adapt to the unique needs of every patient care environment. The machine is widely used in hospital intensive care, emergency medicine and cardiac surgery.
