Drager Apollo Anesthesia Machine is a flexible and user-friendly device that delivers services with little to no user interaction with features such as the automated self-tests. It has an open-platform architecture which allows users to integrate it into the overall workflow. Its ergonomic design gives users convenience in operating the machine, with easy-to-reach functional elements, 2 or 3 vaporizer mount, unique breathing bag arm design, strategically-positioned integrated auxiliary O2 and pressure gauge, dim light, foot rest, and centrally operated break. Machine startup is also automated with enhanced troubleshooting and clear texts. Its integrated breathing system requires no external hoses, reducing risks for misconnection and disconnection. Its capable of delivering low flow anesthesia which significantly reduces cost. It has the following standard modes: Manual, Spontaneous, Volume, and Pressure Mode. It has the following optional modes: Pressure Support and Volume Mode Autoflow. The device also has an integrated backup battery power that can last 30-90 minutes depending on ventilation parameters used. It has the electrically driven and controlled E-Vent Plus that supplies maximum peak flow in excess of any bellows ventilator, which gives the same performance as in ICU.
