The Drager Narkomed MRI-2 Anesthesia Machine is designed and engineered to work in shielded or unshielded MRI environment. It can operate at the shortest distance possible between patients and MRI machines without electromagnetic restrictions. It works dependably and makes no detectable image distortion even when placed in direct contact with the MRI. This capability is very important when scanning pediatric and neonatal patients. In terms of functionality, it constantly monitors pressure, volume and oxygen data and conveniently displays these information along with an airway pressure waveform. Its automatic alarms issue visual or audio warning if parameters exceed their limits. In addition, it is equipped with backup battery power that can guarantee continuous three-hour operation in case of a power outage.
