GE Corometrics 173 Fetal Monitor is a portable unit offering high-end solutions for basic fetal monitoring needs during the antepartum period, as well as labor and delivery. It delivers single ultrasound and FECG and monitors uterine activity via Toco or IUPC. It has customizable heart rate alarm ranges and transducer placement aids and uses routine labor monitoring parameters to assist in handling all phases of delivery. It uses 9-Crystal ultrasound for reliable monitoring and Heartbeat Coincidence algorithm to make sure the unit isn't monitoring the same fetus for twin pregnancies. It has optional Fetal Movement Detection that monitors movement and automatically records data on strip chart paper. It has independent volume controls with twins monitors and is compatible with Corometrics Qwik Connect Plus Spiral Electrodes. It has clear LED display for easy reading of fetal heart rates.
