GE Datex-Ohmeda Aestiva 5 MRI Anesthesia Machine is MRI-compatible designed for settings up to 300 Gauss, active shielded 1.5T and 3T magnets. It has a compact design that makes it easy to transport from one care setting to another. It has a physically integrated magnetic field strength monitor/Gauss Alarm that sends a warning when the machine is too close to the MRI magnet and an integrated breathing circuit that has 8 integrated machine hose/cables for simplified cable management and enhanced patient safety. It has the 7900 SmartVent integrated to its system, giving more versatility to the anesthesia machine to cater neonate to adult patients. The SmartVent features Cardiac ByPass Case Mode, Volume and Pressure Control Modes, SIMV and PSVPro Modes, and an adjustable flow trigger and PEEP. Users can easily switch from mechanical mode to manual mode in one swift motion and to standby with just 2 key presses. Fresh gas flow is automatically compensated and with minimum O2 flow and dual airtube flow for resolution of low flows. It has a Tec 7 vaporizer with the Easy-fil filler that minimizes leaks and simplifies agent filling. The device has a user-friendly and intuitive interface, displaying single drop-down menus for easier evaluation.
