GE Datex-Ohmeda Aisys CS2 is an advanced digital anesthesia delivery system that can be integrated with GE Carescape anesthesia and multi-parameter monitors. It also has a modular and upgrade able software to enable the device to meet changing medical needs and situations using newly developed technologies. It's easy to set up and use with its intuitive and user-friendly design, sporting a 15-inch full-color touchscreen display and user-friendly menus. It has enhanced automation technologies such as: Quick Picks; automatic record keeping and alarm limits. It also features an EcoFlow (or electronic agent control) feature that aids users in determining desired inspired oxygen concentration and in alerting the clinician of agent consumption data that can help mitigate wasteful gas consumption.

The device has digitally controlled and monitored ventilator, vaporizer, and gas delivery and features an Advanced Breathing System (ABS) that allow quick response to changes in agents and gas, giving visual indications via rising bellows to prevent leakages. It has a wide variety of ventilation modes including VCV, PCV, PSVPro, PCV-VG, SIMV, VCV, SIMV PCV, CPAP+PSV, and SIMV PCV-VG. It has an Automated Vital Capacity and Cycling lung ventilation procedures for enhanced lung management and customization of settings and delivery. The Aisys CS2 can also display Patient Spirometry for airway pressure, flow, volume, compliance, PEEP, and airway resistance.
