The Leica M400 is a high-performance surgical microscope designed to deliver high image quality, resolution, and color fidelity which makes it specifically well-suited to be used in neuro, spine Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and P&R applications. The M400 is easy to use, versatile, mobile, and compact which allows the surgical microscope to be used in both routine and complex ENT procedures.
The M400 has a compact design which enables the surgical procedure to be performed in a more comfortable and efficient manner. Equipped with an integrated halogen illumination with a fast lamp quick-changer, a 5-step magnification changer, a large depth of field range, and an easy-to-use balancing system, the M400 can deliver high quality, high-resolution images.
The surgical microscope is also equipped with an integrated halogen illuminator with a quick-change mount. It provides a steep-angled coaxial illuminating beam which further improves the quality of the image.
The modular design, the patented counterbalance mechanism, and the one hand movement allow the surgeons to easily and quickly set up and adapt the M400 to suit the user's specific needs. All these features allow the surgeons to focus on the surgery and enable the microscope to deliver the desired image quality.
