The Leica OH1 is a surgical microscope designed to be used in neuro and spine applications. Developed by Leica Microsystems, the operating microscope utilizes the tried and tested technology found in the Leica line of surgical microscopes, and combines them with the new and innovative features to produce the compact, versatile, and mobile Leica OH1 surgical microscope.
The zoom and focus functions of the neurosurgical microscope are fully motorized. This feature allows the magnification setting of the microscope to be changed with improved accuracy and precision. This, in turn, improves the images delivered by the OH1.
It is equipped with 0-180 degree binoculars which are specifically designed to help the microscope keep its size compact. The binoculars can also incline and swivel which further increase the working capability and range of the OH1.
Equipped with a fiber-optic illumination, multi-focus system, and pistol control, the OH1, the operating microscope ensures that it can deliver crisp, clear, and high-resolution images. These features also ensure that the microscope can be easily used and precisely positioned, which, in turn, can enhance the whole surgical workflow.
