The Medfusion 3500 Syringe Pump is a compact, lightweight, and ambulatory infusion pump. It is designed to meet a wide range of patient care needs. Fluids can be delivered from syringes with size ranging from 1 mL to 60 mL. It can be configured using a PC, through its intuitive PharmGuard software. The configuration contain global settings for the device, Profile definitions that set limits on dosage, predefined delivery or drug programs, and syringe definitions.
At the rear of the pump is an IR port, which can send and receive data to assist in history data management. Through this, its firmware can be updated and its infusion settings and events history downloaded for use later. This feature allows the healthcare provider to check for trends in the usage of the instrument.
This pump is uniquely designed to work in static magnetic fields and can be used in MRI rooms.
