The Medrad Spectris Solaris EP is state-of-the-art magnetic resonance injection system designed to be used in a mobile trailer environment. It is configured for live imaging during therapeutics and diagnostic angiography procedures and adapted to inject contrast to determine, diagnose, and treat cardiovascular diseases. The injection system is also streamlined for ease-of-use, safety, and flexibility that makes it well suited for a wide range of applications.
The Spectris Solaris EP's off-the-floor design provides the imaging system an improved flexibility. It can be stored quickly and easily and allows instant access to the patient's arms. In addition, the Solaris EP is compatible with all MR scanner field strengths, including 3T.
The imaging system is also designed for ease-of-use. It has six user-programmable phases and a color touchscreen which can reduce the setup time. It is also equipped with an independent Keep Vein Open (KVO) rate which further adds to the automation of injection process.
The Solaris EP is equipped with Enhanced Power Management with integrated continuous battery charger (iCBC). This system enables the imaging system to be plugged into any outlets. It also has a Pressure limit Control with preset pressure limits. It is designed to give the medical personnel an enhanced control when using patient access tubing including Power PICC and central lines.
