Every MED Refurbished unit ships with a written MED warranty covering parts and labor. Terms run from 90 days to 24 months depending on the equipment and are stated on your quote. Extended coverage is available on most systems. Your warranty is with MED: one point of accountability from quote through the life of the coverage.

The Medrad Stellant is a state-of-the-art computed tomography (CT) injection system used in complex CT angiography and cardiac CT studies. Equipped with Medrad's premium technology, the Stellant is designed to improve the workflow efficiency and ease-of-use.
The Stellant is equipped with the Enhanced Protocol Management, a workflow-centralized interface designed for efficiently managing injection protocols. It also allows for precise timing of contrast delivery. It can also be equipped with Certegra P3T 2.0 tech that can enhance personalized patient protocol standardization.
The Dual Syringe system of the Stellant improves contrast and saline injection at different ratios for visualizing the whole heart. It allows for uniform attenuation of the right and left ventricles, minimize artifacts, and visualize the right coronary arteries and ventricles.
The Medrad Stellant can also optionally be equipped with the 2008 Medical Design Excellence Award winner Medrad Extravasation Detection System (XDS). The XDS is configured to improve patient safety by stopping injections when pooling liquid is sensed under the skin. It also eliminates the manual tape-strip preparation that could interfere with proper palpation. The XDS tech can perform a self-test which can confirm whether the system is working or not.
