The Olympus BF-P240 is a video bronchoscope used for bronchoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. It is built to deliver crisp and clear images and is well-suited for routine applications such as diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. It has an insertion tube with a diameter of 5.2 millimeters, an instrument channel with a diameter of 2.0 millimeters, and a working length of 550-millimeter. It also has a 120-degree field of view which enables accurate observation of a large area, and features a 180-degree (up) and a 130-degree (down) angulation that facilitates easier maneuvering in the bronchi. These features facilitate easy insertion that reduces procedure time and improves patient comfort. The BF-P240 is also equipped with an ergonomically designed grip which improves device handling and maneuverability. The Olympus BF-P240 Video Bronchoscope is compatible with the Olympus' CV-P240 and CV-240 video processors and the Olympus' light sources, such as the CLV-10, CLV-160, CLV-180, CLV-U20, and CLV-140.
