The Olympus BF-P40 is a fiberoptic bronchoscope used in hospitals and clinics to examine the airways in a patient. The flexible BF-P40 is designed to deliver outstanding image quality well suited for routine applications, such as diagnostic procedures and treatment of respiratory diseases. It features a slim 5.0-millimeter diameter, a generous 2.2-millimeter instrument channel diameter, a working length of 550-millimeter, easy insertion capability that reduces procedure time.It exhibits a 120-degree field of view for accurate observation of larger areas, while its 180-degree up/130-degree down angulation abilities facilitate easier maneuvering in the bronchi. The BF-P40 is compatible with the Olympus CLK-3, Olympus CLK-4, Olympus CLV-10, Olympus CLV-160, Olympus CLV-180, Olympus CLV-S20, Olympus CLV-S30, Olympus CLV-U20, and Olympus CLV-U40 light sources.
