The Olympus CLV-160 Xenon Light Source uses its powerful 300-watt lamp to provide the needed illumination for clear and accurate observation during endoscopic surgical procedures. Its improved condenser design achieves 30 percent more light intensity than previous models. Its high intensity capacity assures that its brightness can reach distant points even when there is a need to retroflex the scope tip. Additionally, its improvement in light adjustment levels makes it possible to observe at extremely close range.

Its simple buttons and clear indicators on the front panel makes it easy and convenient to use. It is equipped with a lamp life indicator to show the total working hours of the examination. An emergency lamp indicator is also provided, to signal if the emergency lamp is in active use or disconnected. Its reduction in overall size saves space.
