The Olympus CLV-180 Xenon Light Source uses a 300-Watt Xenon lamp to deliver high intensity illumination for HDTV quality. The high quality visual display enhances the accuracy and efficiency of surgeons. It is equipped with specially coated filters for Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), an image enhancement technology that creates a visual contrast between veins and capillaries. It also automatically adjusts its light intensity to ideal levels for observing the gastrointestinal tract. It offers improved device handling with its backlit controls and panel indicators, while its lamp saves power by being turned on or off separately from the device.
