The Olympus CV-160 Video Processor is equipped with specially designed hardware that uses frequencies ideal for endoscopic images, ensuring high quality and high accuracy of observation during delicate endoscopic examinations or interventions. Its three video output: VBS, S-Video, and RGB can be used simultaneously. This gives more flexibility when using existing equipment or when another video monitor is needed in the Operating Room. It also has an Automatic Gain Control (AGC) function which electrically amplifies images when there is not enough light. This is useful when a subject is too far from the distal end of the scope.

Its smart interface can display data of patient on the video monitor while there is an on-going procedure. The system can store an advance entry of data of up to 40 patients. This enhances efficiency in documenting endoscopic procedures.
