The Olympus GIF-2T160 is a versatile video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. It has improved treatment and suction capabilities with its dual channel design that includes a 3.7 mm diameter channel for suction, and a 2.8 mm diameter channel for insertion of an EndoTherapy accessory. The dual channel system ensures a powerful suction capability. It also enables both the channels to be used for Endo-Therapy accessories. The GIF-2T160 has an auxiliary water function that can be used with a dedicated flushing pump and Olympus CV-160 video system center to provide a consistently clear view at the touch of a switch on the scope. It is compatible with specific laser probes which can further expand its treatment versatility. It also has a 3-millimeter minimum depth of field for close-up observation, a 12.6-millimeter outer diameter insertion tube, a 120-degree field of view, and a responsive 4-way angulation system. These features help in in providing a more comprehensive examination of the upper digestive tract.
