The Olympus GIF-2TH180 is a therapeutic video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. Capable of producing HDTV image quality and featuring a dual channel design, it provides high quality visualization and allows accurate observation of mucosal morphology, vascular patterns, and blood vessels. It has a dual channel configuration which can be used simultaneously and can expand its versatility, expand its suction capabilities, and support two endoscopic devices simultaneously. Its enhanced imaging uses a HDTV-compatible CCD chip that delivers the sharpest possible images to help the users provide accurate screenings and diagnoses, and a Close Focus system that system allows close observation of the mucosal surface without the need for electronic magnification. It also has a slim design for improved balance of size and performance, having a distal end with outer diameter measuring 12.2 millimeters, an insertion tube with outer diameter measuring 12.6 millimeters, an instrument channel with inner diameter measuring 3.7 millimeters, a 4-way angulation system, and a broad 140-degree field of view.
