The Olympus GIF-HQ190 is a versatile video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. Capable of delivering HDTV image quality and featuring a unique dual focus design, it is ideal for performing optical visualization and observation of mucosal morphology, vascular patterns, and blood vessels. It is equipped with a redesigned CCD that provides improved optics, brilliant image, increased contrast, reduced noise, and reduced halation. It has a distal end outer diameter measuring 9.9 millimeters, an insertion tube outer diameter measuring 9.9 millimeters, an instrument channel inner diameter measuring 2.8 millimeters, a 4-way angulation system, and a broad 140-degree field of view. These features are combined with Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) technology to deliver exceptional image quality even during electronic zoom. The NBI can provide twice the viewable distance, while the HD NBI creates visual contrast which can improve the analysis of the mucosal morphology, vascular patterns, and blood vessel anatomy in patients with Barrett's esophagus. The GIF-H190 also features a Dual Focus System which allows the user to choose between two focus settings: near field or normal field.
