The Olympus GIF-N180 Video Gastroscope is used in gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. It is designed to facilitate detailed examinations in a manner that is more comfortable for the patient, and features a re-designed insertion tube to make it versatile enough for trans-nasal endoscopy, with a diameter of 4.9 millimeters, an instrument channel with a diameter of 2.0 millimeters, and a working length of 1100 millimeters. It also has a 210-degree (up) and a 120-degree (down) angulation and a 120-degree angle of view that facilitates easier maneuvering and handling for a more efficient examination of the upper gastrointestinal tract. Widely recognized as the world's first gastrointestinal videoscope to break the five-millimeter diameter, the compact GIF-N180 enhances user experience while delivering crisp and clear images. Its working length exhibits a suitable degree of stiffness that prohibits looping and ensures that the scope can reach the duodenal bulb. It is also equipped with an ergonomically designed grip which enhances its maneuverability, and its easy-to-access controls and user programmable switches improve its operability.
