The Olympus GIF-Q140 is a video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. Highlighting an exceptional image quality, a slim insertion tube and instrument channel, an extra-wide field of view, and an ergonomically-designed grip, the gastrointestinal videoscope is intended to facilitate detailed observations in a way that is more comfortable for the patient.
The GIF-Q140 features an insertion tube with a diameter of 10.5 millimeters, an instrument channel with a diameter of 2.8 millimeters, and a working length of 1030 millimeters. These characteristics allow the small GIF-Q140 to lessen the patient stress and discomfort, to improve the user experience, to deliver crisp and clear images, and to enhance its insertion capabilities.
The GIF-Q140 highlights an ergonomically designed grip which can enhance the scope's maneuverability, and easy-to-access controls and user programmable switches which can improve the gastroscope's operability. The video gastroscope has a 4-way angulation and a broad 140-degree field of view which expedite complete and extensive observation within the upper gastrointestinal tract. The XG140 is compatible with the Olympus 160 and 180 series light sources, and the CV-100, CV-140, CV-160, and CV-180 video processors.
The GIF-Q140 also permits the users to preview the images shown on a monitor that has a large display size. The large display size shows a complete rendering of deft textures and distinct capillaries on the esophageal and gastric walls to ensure reliable, efficient examination, diagnosis, and treatment.
