The Olympus GIF-XP190N is a versatile video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. It has a narrow distal end outer diameter measuring 5.4 millimeters, an insertion tube outer diameter measuring 5.8 millimeters, an instrument channel inner diameter measuring 2.2 millimeters, a 4-way angulation system, and a broad 140-degree field of view. It has two light guides which can increase the brightness for more detailed observation and can also reduce the shadows from the gastroscope. The improved brightness and the decreased shadows enable the XP190N to deliver excellent images. The tip of the scope is intended to permit smooth removal to reduce patient discomfort. The size of the channel is designed to increase the suction volume and to allow for a wider variety of device options. It is ideal for performing optical visualization and observation of mucosal morphology, vascular patterns, and blood vessels. Its ultra-slim design enables transnasal gastroscopy in a manner that can reduce patient stress and discomfort. The GIF-XP190N has a waterproof one-touch connector which is created to reduce the effort for setting up the device. It can be fully submerged to eliminate the need for a water-resistant cap and the associated risk of costly repairs due to accidental immersion.
