The Olympus PCF-PH190L Video Colonoscope provides superior HDTV image quality which allows physicians to conduct examinations in greater detail. Its ultra-slim scope diameter combines with its Responsive Insertion Technology (RIT) to facilitate smoother and quicker procedures with less discomfort for patients. Its High Force Transmission (HFT) makes it easier to operate and control during pushing and twisting maneuvers. Its Passive Bending allows the distal tip of the scope to seamlessly conform to the natural anatomy of the colon. Its variable stiffness helps physicians to make the scope flexible or rigid and adjust to what the procedure demands. The scope also supports Narrow Band Imaging (NBI), an image enhancement technology which creates a contrast between tissues and blood vessels and delivers brighter images. It is also fully submersible in liquid, which eliminates the expensive risk of accidental immersion.
