The Oridion Microcap Capnograph is a portable monitoring device that continuously measures end tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2), fractional inspired carbon dioxide (FiCO2), and respiratory rate (RR). Its lightweight design provides versatility in any environment, at bedside in the hospital or on the go, and can accommodate adult, pediatric, and infant/neonatal patients. It uses IR-based spectroscopy for consistent and accurate measurement of carbon dioxide in every breath, and allows switching for all patient types without the need for recalibration. It conveniently displays EtCO2 and respiration rate on two LED output, and at the same time provides a graphical respresentation of the measurements on its display screen. The Oridion Microcap Capnograph employs audible and visual alarm warnings for monitored parameters and instrument malfunctions, ensuring patient safety. In addition, it can operate on AC power source or on its rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) battery pack.
