The Pentax EG-1840 is a video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. Devised to deliver high-quality images, the flexible Pentax EG-1840 deliver clear and reliable visualization in the investigation of mucosal morphology, vascular patterns, and blood vessels. It is equipped with an insertion tube measuring 6.0 millimeters in diameter, an instrument channel with diameter measuring 2.0 millimeters, a working length of 1050 millimeters, a 4-way angulation system, a 120-degree field of view, an ergonomically designed grip for better maneuverability and efficient device handling, and a forward water jet mechanism for removing obstacles from the endoscopic view. Its lumen surfaces, including the air/water biopsy/suction and water jet systems, are fully accessible for mechanical cleaning.
