The Pentax EG-2990k is a video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. Designed to produce high-quality images, the easy-to-use, robust, and adaptable Pentax EG-2990k delivers high quality optical visualization for the observation of mucosal morphology, vascular patterns, and blood vessels. Its large display capability is intended to deliver exceptional quality with sharper, crisper images and true-to-life color from edge to edge. It is equipped with an insertion tube with a diameter measuring 9.8 millimeters and an instrument channel with a diameter measuring 2.8 millimeters, a working length of 1050 millimeters, a 4-way angulation system, and a broad 140-degree field of view. It also has an ergonomic grip which results to better device handling and maneuverability. It is compatible with the Pentax EPK-I, Pentax EPK-1000 and Pentax EPK-700 video processors.
