The Pentax EPM-1000 Video Processor uses a high performance integrated 100W Xenon lamp for superior illumination of surgical sites. This works in unison with its Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology which automatically adjusts the color and brightness of its video signals to produce maximum image clarity and resolution. It also has a back-up light source should the main examination lamp fail, ensuring the completion of any on-going procedure.
It has a compact and lightweight design aimed for portability and to save space, but its design does not diminish its functionality. It is still equipped with several video ports - two RGBS, two S-Video, one Composite. Additionally, it has two
USB ports for easy and convenient copying and storing of captured still images to a PC for an efficient and accurate documentation.
