The Pentax FB-15V is a fiberoptic bronchoscope used for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases in hospitals and clinics. It provides optical visualization of and therapeutic access to the airway and bronchial tree, such as the organs, tissues, and subsystems like the nasal passage and trachea. It is designed to facilitate detailed examinations in a manner that is more comfortable for the patient. It has an insertion tube with a diameter of 4.9 millimeters, an instrument channel with a diameter of 2.2 millimeters, and a 600-millimeter working length. These features facilitate easy insertion that reduces procedure time and improve patient comfort. The FB-15V features an ergonomically designed grip which improves device handling and maneuverability. It is also capable of 180-degree (up) and a 130-degree (down) angulation that facilitates easier maneuvering in the bronchi. It has a 120-degree field of view which enables accurate observation of large areas.
