The Pentax FB-15X is a fiber optic bronchoscope used for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases in hospitals and clinics by providing optical visualization of and therapeutic access to the airway and bronchial tree, including the organs, tissues, and subsystems such as the nasal passage and trachea. It facilitates detailed examinations while reducing patient discomfort through its insertion tube with a diameter of 4.9 millimeters, instrument channel with a diameter of 2.2 millimeters, 600-millimeter working length, easy-insertion feature that reduces procedure time, and ergonomically designed grip that allows more efficient device handling and control. Its 180-degree up and 130-degree down angulation capabilities facilitate easier maneuvering in the natural structure of the bronch, while its 120-degree field of view enables accurate observation of large areas.
