Philips IntelliVue MP90 is a high-function patient monitor with up to 3 independent monitors: bedside display for highest acuity patients, display for physicians in an operating room, and a monitor that can be placed outside an isolation area. Its touchscreen and one-touch command features make access and navigation quicker. Each monitor can display up to 13 waveforms. This enhances patient information visibility, along with its user interface that also makes the device more compatible with standard software. Its networked platform enhances connectivity that can span hospital enterprises and can be configured based on individual patient acuity. It can accurately measure optional parameters such as oximetry with the Philips FAST SpO2, the Philips ST/AR algorithm, Masimo SET, or Nellcor OxiMax algorithms. Its optional ECG can store, review, and capture 12-leads before sending data to the Information Center. Its ProtocolWatch feature prompts physicians whenever sepsis criteria are met, and it can produce a record that can be printed for documentation. Through the Events Surveillance feature, parameters for "events" can be configured by users and when these parameters are met the device documents significant patient episodes for review.
