Philips IntelliVue MP5SC is a spot-check patient monitor that can also serve as a patient bedside monitor if on continuous monitoring mode. It has an 8.4-inch touchscreen color monitor that can display up to 3 waveforms. It offers optional parameters such as SpO2, NBP, SureTemp, and Microstream CO2. Its Guardian Early Warning Score allows early intervention for deteriorating patients and this is fully configurable. It also has an optional EWS escalation package that allows the device to serve as a full ECG monitor through a patient-worn device. It has a user-friendly interface that makes monitoring easier and workflow seamless. It can connect to the MX40 via Short Range Radio for monitoring multiple patient vitals. Its built-in battery can last up to 4 hours.
