The Siemens SOMATOM Emotion 16 is a multi-slice computed tomography scanner designed to acquire high-resolution images from a wide range of applications. The 16-Slice SOMATOM Emotion 16 can deliver images with better resolution at quicker speeds and at a lower dose. It can also enhance the clinical confidence of the medical personnel with respect to their diagnosis.
The Emotion 16 features active effective detector channels designed to enhance the quality of the image which, in turn, helps in improving the accuracy of diagnosis. It is also equipped with a small focal spot size, UFC detector, a large number of effective detector channels to provide clear and sharp images to ensure an accurate diagnosis.
The SOMATOM Emotion 16 is provided with a CT storage box that accommodates the CT positioning accessories within easy. This simple yet useful feature also helps in facilitating the ease of patient positioning. The clinician also has remote access with the syngo Expert-I which links the database between the scanner, workstation, and WorkStream 4D to increase the workflow efficiency and allow for quick reconstruction.
The Siemens Emotion 16 exhibits a modern and compact design that allows for easy and efficient installation. The compact design also means that the CT system requires little space in the hospital or the clinic.
