The Sensation 16 is a high-powered, compact, and versatile CT scanner equipped with Siemens' premium technologies designed to reduce the scan times and radiation dose which can enhance the workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
The Sensation 16 can perform three-dimensional whole-body imaging and cardiac examinations with exceptional accuracy and unparalleled image quality. It can also perform cardiac studies in less than 20 seconds and can provide a clear image of the coronary arteries.
The razor-sharp images are the product of the integrated z-Sharp technology and the Straton X-Ray tube. The Sensation is also equipped with real-time MPR CT Angio, 2D Post Processing system, a 3D Display, a Syngo Shaded Display, a Volume Measurement system, and a Volume Rendering Technique. The above-mentioned imaging technologies of the SOMATOM Sensation 16 are based on the super-fast slip ring technology.
