The Smith & Nephew 500 XL Xenon Light Source uses a 300-Watt Xenon lamp to provide illumination even to challenging endoscopic settings. It provides optimal lighting support resulting to high quality images when paired with the 560 HD imaging system. It has a bright LCD panel that provides friendly user interface. It also keeps track and display its lamp hour usage so that a bulb replacement can be efficiently anticipated.
It is also compatible with several light guides because of its rotational turret, allowing operational flexibility. For safety and power efficiency, it switches to an automatic standby feature when a light guide is disconnected.
