The Smith & Nephew Access 40 7205832 Insufflator provides fast and reliable insufflation. Its unique TAP line continuously monitors abdominal pressure while the device is pumping, allowing a faster response to occurrences of leaking during surgeries. Another feature includes its two Carbon Dioxide outputs, each pumping 20 liters per minute. This reduces insufflation time, and allows faster re-insufflation in cases of lost pneumoperitoneum or leaks.
In addition, the device can adapt to the patient's needs and work flexibly with or without heat. Heat cuts down recovery time by reducing the risk of hypothermia from occurring during laparoscopy.
