The Smiths Medical 9004 Capnograph is a portable monitoring system that continuously measures end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) using economical sidestream technology and with options to add pulse oximetry and oxygen saturation (SpO2). It can be used in a wide range of clinical environment, including hospital and mobile use, on adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients - both intubated and non-intubated. Its breath-by-breath CO2 detection allows rapid response to patient changes and thus ensure high safety. It delivers crisp, clear waveforms and large numerics with any three of CO2 waveform, Plethysmogram, End Tidal CO2, Respiration Rate, Inspired CO2, % SpO2, Pulse Rate Fractional Inspired Oxygen, 0V or 1V Cal Signal. In addition, the Smiths Medical 9004 Capnograph can run conveniently either on AC power, or its internal Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) battery.
