The SonoSite L52 Ultrasound Probe is a linear transducer that emits soundwaves from 10 to 5 MegaHertz and has a scan depth of 15 centimeters. It is used in veterinary ultrasound primarily to detect pregnancy in large animals such as cows, horses, and pigs. It helps to monitor pregnancies among livestocks and manage the process of reproduction more efficiently. It also helps provide a high level of biosecurity from infections and pathogens such as parvovirus, flu, salmonellosis, chlamydiosis, brucellosis, FMD, rotaviruses and circoviruses. It is built for use of breeders, insemination specialists, and veterinary doctors, and is compatible with the SonoSite Titan Vet ultrasound system.
