The Sony LMD-2451MD Endoscopy Monitor delivers a full HD solution to the growing need for high quality large screen monitors in providing crucial visualization during surgical operations. It delivers high-brightness and high-contrast images and superior quality at 1920 x 1200 resolution. It is precisely calibrated to ensure consistent and enhanced color reproduction. It uses an advanced calibration of R/G/B coordinates in each LCD panel and keeps white balance at a consistent color temperature in all greyscale levels. This feature is known as its ChromaTRU Color Processing. In addition, it utilizes an advanced full 10-bit digital video signal processor to produce refined images that displays natural transition with hues, shades, or textures.
The Sony LMD-2451MD provides user convenience through a number of features. One is its key-inhibition function which prevents users from unintentionally pressing the buttons on the control panel. Also, it can match the video signal source by switching its aspect ratio between 16:9 (widescreen) and 4:3 (fullscreen). It is fully compliant to VESA mounting standard, and is compatible for use with surgical equipment arms.
