The Steris V116 Steam Sterilizer uses high temperature to eliminate all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores, from heat and water-resistant medical equipment and instruments in a fast and efficient manner. It is a freestanding unit that can accommodate equipment of various sizes with the generous space of its chamber, equipped with a rack and two shelves. Its fluorescent display allows easy reading of its operation status and system warnings, and its touchscreen feature simplifies user interaction when accessing its menu and functions. It is also designed with a foot pedal actuated door for safety, and this helps prevent accidental burns for medical personnel performing the reprocessing. It is built with emergency exhaust valve to let out steam and pressure when these exceed its safety parameters. In addition, the Steris V116 Steam Sterilizer is able to communicate with most PC devices, giving it versatility in working with the local network of a healthcare facility.
